- The Victoria Lodge Esplanade offers quality budget accommodation. It is situated in a prime tourist area of Durban, on the beautiful Victoria Embankment. Walk to Wilson's Wharf on The Durban Waterfront which is home to some of Durban's finest restaurants, curio shops, cafes and oyster bars. Catch a boat tour of the harbour and stunning Indian Ocean. Stroll across to the Royal Natal Yacht Club or walk to the world famous BAT centre with art galleries and local live music performances.
- The Victoria Lodge Esplanade is just 2.5 km, a 20 min walk or a 3 minute bus ride to Durban's stunning golden mile with beautiful, safe and warm beaches, paddling pools and a wide range of entertainment including the world renowned Ushaka Marine World.

| Rooms and facilities |
- The Victoria Lodge Esplanade offers the best value, budget accommodation in Durban. Our rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and are furnished with a double bed. Bunk beds are available for children, families and groups.
- Standard Rooms are in the original building in which the reception, dining area and kitchen are situated.
- Deluxe rooms are situated in the newer section of the lodge. Rooms have TVs with TV1, 2, 3 and eTV. There is a communal TV with TV1,2, 3 and eTV in the dining room.
- Ablution facilities are communal with clean toilets and showers available.
- The Victoria Lodge Esplanade has a guarded parking lot as well as lock up parking for trailers. There is 24 hour security and access control.
- Schools, clubs and groups are welcome to book our dormitory.
